Born in Birmingham and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, Errin Maye somehow always knew she would be in media and entertainment. Coming from a large family of educators, she assumed that was her path, but her mind and heart decided otherwise. From dreams of being a veterinarian to an astronaut, she had always dreamed big and out of the box. During her freshman year at Hoover High School, she stood out in numerous scenes from MTV football series, Two-A-Days. But it wasn’t until after attending the premier of Christopher Nolan’s 2008 filmThe Dark Knight, she would be bitten by the acting bug. While enrolled at The University of Alabama, Errin immersed herself in various fields of art history, computer science, marketing and advertising, and theatre. She has since performed and participated in various acting and media opportunities. Since graduating, Errin has been living in Texas and worked, as well as partner with major brands and companies, such as Simon Properties, FashionBombDaily, HoustonLife, FedEx, and PaperCity Magazine. Her editorial works have been published in PaperCity Magazine and have brought traffic and success to her personal brand. During her time with PaperCity, she has interviewed many public figures, from entrepreneurs to high-end designers — Edgardo Osorio of Aquazurra to social activist, film and stage icon — Harry Belefonte. Today, Errin is earning her Masters of Science degree in Publishing from Pace University. She has received academic awards through the Dyson School of Arts and Sciences. After graduation, she hopes to attend USC or NYU to obtain a Masters degree in Digital Humanities. While building upon the Southern Mannor brand and legacy, Errin hopes to break into design and media in the coming years while adding her touch of southern charm every step of the way.
